Exhibition of Chinese Abstract Art

In 2007, an exhibition titled “Qi Yun: The International Traveling Exhibition of Chinese Abstract Art” begins its world tour, comprising more than 30 abstract paintings by eight Chinese artists. The exhibition goes to Beijing and Hong Kong in August and October respectively, and will move to
the United States next year.

Although commonly understood to embody liberalism or an elite, Chinese abstract art consistently searches for spiritual resources in ancient culture so as to rebuild a style and an introspective understanding of ‘liberalism in art’.
