Shanghai residents now can put their personal photos on specially
designed postage stamps.
The business was launched in the city on May 1 by the Shanghai Philatelic
Corporation. Currently about 50 local people, mostly newly-weds, have
taken advantage of the service.
Each set of stamps is composed of 16 pictures, and customers must order
at least 50 copies.
The company said that the service was currently being offered on a trial
basis, and it is planning to expand it to other parts of the country in
the near future.
