Director:Philippe Calderon
GenreDocumentary Fiction
Synopsis:
In the middle of the African savannah, in south-eastern Burkina Faso, in
the safety of their high tower, termites are hard at work when a drama
turns their neat and ordered life upside down.
A deluge of tropical rain floods galleries and chambers, causing cracks
and breaches to appear in the termites' castle. Not far from there, a
colony of terrible, carnivorous ants prepares to attack. They'll take
advantage of the tower's fragility to launch a veritable assault. A
merciless war ensues
Shot with real insects and animals, this documentary fiction films ants
and termites closer than ever seen before. Reality has never seemed more
like a horror film!
